Assessment of constraints in land rental regulatory frameworks in Tigray and SNNPR

This study was conducted to assess the constraints of the land rental regulatory framework and the reasons for low formalisation of land rental transactions. The findings support LIFT programming and inform potential amendments that could be introduced to the current regulatory framework for land rental transactions in Tigray and the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region (SNNPR). The analysis is based on the data obtained from kebele (ward) surveys, key informant interviews, focus group discussions and household surveys.
