Distribution of SLLC: strategic recommendations
This document examines LIFT’s current understanding of the progress of, and constraints to, land certificate distribution and collection. It comprises an analysis of survey data conducted in 2017 and historic second level land certification (SLLC) progress data, supported by field observations and input from LIFT stakeholders. The document proposes several strategic recommendations to enable LIFT to ensure certificate distribution to landholders.

LIFT’s study on formal registration of land transactions in Ethiopia
This study conducted by LIFT looks at the underlying causes for landholders to informally transact their land use rights as opposed to registering them, and provides a statistically significant estimate for the percentage of formally registered land transactions.
