The catalytic impact of market systems innovations in land certification programs – evidence from two large-scale household surveys in Ethiopia

Based on two large-scale quantitative household surveys conducted in 2019, this paper discusses evidence of how a combination of second level land certification, rural land administration systems and market systems thinking can incentivise landholders to participate in land administration, while also accelerating investment, productivity and income effects.
