Study on formal and informal transactions in LIFT programme woredas

This large-scale quantitative household survey contacted 9,600 households across Amhara, Oromia, Tigray, and SNNPR to establish a statistically robust and representative estimate of the percentage of land transactions that have been formally registered with the rural land administration system. Qualitative research was conducted alongside the survey to examine the constraints to households formally registering land transactions.
